In October of 2015, a total of 216 runners took part in the the annual Ardfield 5k & 10k races near Clonakilty in West Cork.
Today the 18th of March 2016, a presentation was made in Ardfield Rathbarry Playground of €500 to the Children's Leukaemia Association. This was funded from the proceeds from last October's race.
From the organisers..."Thanks again to everyone who supported the run - your donation will be put to very good use by the CLA and by the playground committee towards the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of our great playground."
Included in the picture are Marianne Hanley and Veronica Maher from the CLA, members of Ardfield Rathbarry Playground committee and local kids.
