After a 26 year gap the bug is back. A great day, many thanks to all the volunteers for the great organising and hospitality.It was a marvellous event. Ar ais arís an bhlian seo chugainn !!
Just want to say fair play to Mike Harrington, Dee, and their band of loyal helpers. This really is a wonderful race - great route ( even allowing for that gut-turning 420m tough climb , loads of marshals, fantastic scenery for most of the 5 miles, 2 water stations !!, and a fine spread of food afterwards in the community hall. Can't speak highly enough. The only pity is the smallish turnout on the day. I really enjoyed it, and thanks again to all.
Note to other runners, particularly those from West Cork - get yourselves to Durrus for this race next year. You won't be disappointed.
Absolutely brilliant race. Can't wait for next year even with that tough hill on the second mile!!
