Great day out, well organised, and had some good support out on the course, even though its a remote spot.
A looking at the rugby highlights this evening it seems Mealagh Valley got all the sunshine available.

I'll be back in 2014.

Take note all those who see organising a run as just a money making exercise.. THIS is the model to follow. Excellent stewarding / parking. Easy registration, closed roads, accurate timing, quick publication of results excellent support on the roads, plenty water stations, huge amount of food afterwards. It is a bloody hard run, a bit of a distance from the usual suburban runs in Cork, but for all of the above reasons it has a very loyal hardcore following.

Well done to all who are involved.. take a bow.

What a great race to take part in for all the reasons already mentioned. Its a tough course but the fact everything was run so smoothly from start to finish made it a pleasure to participate in. Thanks to all the organisers and volunteers who clearly worked v hard. See you next year.
