A well organised race. Great food and facilities after the race. A huge turnout for a first race someone said about 800??? Great to finish in the centre of a town. Well done to all involved. it was great to run without any traffic on the roads. Im only running with a year but in my opinion it was a great race

What a turnout for a first time race! As previous poster said, great to finish in the town centre. How did they manage to get the main road closed for so long?

I agree, fantastic organisation and a great buzz to the whole event. It was great running through Macroom town, with no traffic and the crowds on the street, it felt like a really big event. Thanks to all involved!

I agree - well organised race, plenty of stewards and a great spread afterwards. As with some other races, it is a pity that a little more thought does not go into the prizes. As a female individual and team prize winner I came away with a small man's tracksuit and a medium man's jacket (both far too big for me!)
