Results of the Cork BHAA 'Cork Simon' charity 5km race - Sat 13th Dec 2008
A fine entry of 195 runners turned out for this on what was a cold morning. This was the last race in the 2008 Cork BHAA calendar and they kick off the new year with a cross country race in mid-January. In the meantime, there are plenty of races to choose from over the Christmas period. Details here over the next few days.

The results of the Cork Simon run can be found HERE.

I had a watch in the pocket of my shorts (not for cheating - just for distance recording!) and reckon my actual time was about 15 seconds faster than the recorded time (it would have made no difference to me or anybody else). I'm just wondering if any one else noticed this. My time was not a PB or anything.

Unlike Richard I didn't have a watch, but I think he might be right, I felt that I had run about 15-20 seconds faster, and the guy in front of me in the tunnel guessed/opinioned a time 20 seconds faster than what was eventually recorded. I agree with him that it isn't earth shattering and in the grand scheme of things whats 15 seconds, but I think we are entitled to a "Tribunal", the truth must come out!!
Can we call it the "Mahon Tribunal"
