Notice: Togher 5k road race in Cork City - Sun 31st Dec 2023

The annual Togher AC 5k is coming up over the Christmas period on Sunday the 31st of December 2023 at 11am. 

This is always a popular race and is one of the biggest in Cork over Christmas. As 5k courses go, this one is pretty fast and it's mostly around quiet housing estates.

From Togher AC... Every year, our annual Togher AC 5K Road Race brings both competitive and casual runners together for a tour through the neighbourhoods and streets of Togher. The race is open for everyone to partake in and takes place at the end of December.

All funds raised from this year’s event will again go to support Cork Mental Health Foundation

Last year, 2022 was our 11th year where we donated funds raised from race entry fees to Cork Mental Health Foundation & Housing Association. The 5k course is the same as last year and takes in some quiet estates around Togher. The course is reasonably flat so you can expect to get a good 5k time.
