My Hillary AC are holding their Lombardstown 5-mile road race on Thurs 24th Aug 2023 at 7:30pm.

Details from Mt Hillary AC... "Join us for our 5 Miler in Lombardstown, in association with Lombardstown Community Council on Thursday August 24th at 19:30. Parking and bathrooms available at the start line.
Tea and coffee and snacks available in Crowleys bar in Gortroe (race starts and finishes here).
For the first time, there is an option to register as Non Binary, the prize for this category will be the same as the male and female prizes, and are kindly sponsored by Under The Rainbow, Dublin. The prize money for this category will be the same amount as the male and female (100, 75 & 60).
We will have a bonus for the course record again. Last year the male record was broken by Evan Fitzgerald with a time of 25:18. The female record has remained at 30:06, when it was set by Carol Finn in 2019.
The kids race is also back this year. One mile, and free to enter.

Lombardstown is located about 8kms west of the town of Mallow. The easiest way to get there from Cork City is to take the N72 Killarney road west from Mallow. After about 7kms, turn left for Lombardstown (signposted). Go over the railway line, through Lombardstown and then take a right at the next junction. Gortroe is signposted 1km from here.
Race HQ is at Crowley's Bar in Gortroe. The course is shown about and it's a reasonably fast course.
There is one climb after the 3.5 mile mark but other than that, it looks pretty flat.
