There was a big turnout for this years Cobh 10-mile road race with 769 runners crossing the finish line, a big jump of 19% on the figure for 2021.

At the 8-mile mark, the first man Jake O'Regan had a commanding lead over Mick Clohisey. In the women's race, it was a closer contest at this stage as can be seen above with Aoife Cooke having a roughly 30-metre lead on Michelle Finn who was chasing hard.
Visually impaired runner Ross Gallagher from Kerry finished the 2023 Cobh 10-mile road race in a time of 1h 40m. Sorcha Kearney was his guide runner. |

Great race , has the potential to be one of the best 10 mile races. Ease of access and parking, challenging course, lots of places to get food and drink afterwards, well done to all involved
It was a brilliant organised race. Lovely to see so many people and Stewart’s were plentiful .Great weather which was a bonus looking forward to next year.organisers should pat thenselves on back
Fantastic event! Bag drop would be great for anyone travelling on their own, if possible?
