Nearly a thousand runners turn up and just one finish under 53 minutes. Anything you can do with your blog John to encourage more fast running so more athletes will be breaking 50 minutes for ten miles? It is always nice when a runner runs ten miles under 1:45 for the first time or under 1:30 but it looks good when a few can run respectable times too like in the olden days.

Great event, well organised and I hope to do it again. But will there be any black marks against the names of those who decided to treat the "No Headphones" rule as a suggestion?

Great event. Well organised. Lots of stewards to guide the race safely. The start at the castle is a great setting and I preferred this start versus Mallow town centre.
