New start line for the Mallow 10 mile road race - 20th March 2022

Weather Update: Note that there is going to be a strong headwind for the second half of the race. This is likely to be a major factor for roughly the last 3 miles.

Other than that, it should be overcast, dry and mild. In terms of gear, a singlet or short sleeved dry fit running top should be enough.

There are some important changes to this years Mallow 10 mile road race which are important to anyone taking part.

1) The usual Youth Centre will NOT be used. There is no point going there.

2) The race will no longer start on Main St. The new start line is on the grounds of Mallow Castle.

The rest of the course stays the same, it's just the start line that has changed.

All entries have been posted, this number is allocated to you and is non transferrable.

If you have not received your number by Wednesday 16th March, please contact mallow10milerace@gmail.com

The shirts will be part of the goody bag when the runners cross the finish line.

There will be 2 water points along the course, one around mile 4 and the second just after 7 miles.
