The South Dublin 10k on Sunday the 22nd of July attracted a large field of 2249 runners making it one of the largest 10k races in the country.
The first woman across the line was Lizzie Lee from Cork with a time of 33m 24s. What's pretty amazing is that Lizzie actually finished in 3rd place overall with only two men managing to stay ahead of her. Lizzie's team mate John Shine of Leevale AC was the 3rd man home.
