A lovely evening in Coolagown. Well done to all the organisers. The water station on the hill was a very welcome sight. Looking forward to next year.
Hadn't run Coolagown previously. What a beautiful setting for a race. Nice atmosphere there too. Pretty testing hill up The Long Road, but a great route all the same. Well organised, and a lovely outdoor spread afterwards.
And John Walshe was there, as usual - working at registration, helping out with the timing at the start, ran the race, and as soon as he was finished, he sat down at his laptop to sort out the times. And, i saw him at Fermoy 5k on Tuesday night, and Glanmire 4m on Wednesday night too.
The guy is a legend.
