Great community spirit around the village for the race, fitting minutes silence at the start line for the recent tragic farm accident. great to see the local nursing home residents and staff out supporting everyone along with all the impromptu water stations along the course. A welcome mist shower at the finish. Super spread afterwards in the sunshine. The cash prizes were too generous for a fundraising race. Well done to all involved.
This is an excellent race, would agree wholeheartedly with the previous comment. Great to see all the schoolkids out helping and giving out water at the finish. These races are what it's all about, fantastic atmosphere and nice to support such a good cause. Will be back next year.
What does the MJ and FJ stand for in the results please.
Great atmosphere, great spread and fully deserved support after all the advertising. Well done to everyone involved. Can see why it was voted best 5k last year
