It was a great starting location. Shame about the clown in the wee car outside lifetime lab stuck in middle of road trying to get the runners to get out of his way!! Well done and thanks to all of the stewards, marshals, photographers, gardai and well wishers. Without you all, there would have been no race. Mile buiochas. :-)

I am wondering if anyone may have got the details of a dark grey Audi A5 Coupe with a 2007 registration. I thought I had the right reg number but it turns out to be wrong when I checked it. The wing mirror of it brushed off me as I ran along Carrigrohane straight and I could see it purposefully keep in as close as possible to a group of runners in front of me despite no oncoming traffic approaching from the other side, presumably to make some sort of point. I was in as close as possible to the path and the group in front of me were running one on the path and one very close to the path on the road. These Audi A5's would be a relatively uncommon car and they were only introduced in 2007. Hopefully some stewards at finish or along Carrigrohane straight may have seen it.

Great race today, wise decision for new start location taking safety of athletes and other road users into consideration, fantastic food, a big thank you to all involved for their warm welcome, encouragement and professionalism from start to finish :)

I thought that too about an Audi that passed me, I only took notice when he was passing the guy in front of me of how far in he was to the foot path with no traffic coming towards

Did anyone else see the Garda Armed Response unit car out on the course. It passed me at the 2 mile mark, on the climb. Jaysus lads, are us Cork runners after getting such a bad name or what, that the heavies are policing our races ?!!
Great weather, great route, well organised, and the food layed on afterwards was fantastic.
Congrats to all concerned.
