Results of the Liscarroll 8 km Road Race - Sun 24th Aug 2008
There was a slight increase in numbers for this race in North Cork as 61 runners turned out for it.

"Such a pity that this race did not get a better attendance than 61 runners,its a very well organised event plenty of stewards very good prizes,very good course tough but good,i presume the Cork vs Kerry game had alot to do with it,also its only the second running of this race and i predict it will get better numbers each year,It was really nice to see a friend of mine getting first place in the lady senior catergory,June Twomey is a regular runner at nearly all the local races and some races far away and she really deserved that today,well done June.......John Dunphy, Midleton AC"
