Members of the Happy Feet running club were out in force recently for the official handover of a bus for the local scout group. The club which is based in the Blarney area helped raise funds for the bus in memory of member Cory Rea who has sadly passed away.
Cory was passionate about the running club and the local 11th Cork Cloghroe Scout Group and it had been his intention to raise funds for a new bus for the scouts. Members of Happy Feet ran the Dublin Marathon on behalf of Cory and the funds raised helped realise the completion of the project.
