🏃 33 marathons in 33 days across Ireland following Jordan’s amazing London marathon carrying a fridge on his back.
This challenge is about far more than running.
They are raising awareness and vital funds for Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) research — a devastating condition that affects not only memory and cognition, but entire families and futures.
What makes this even more powerful is the bravery behind it.
To take on a challenge of this scale in the name of dementia awareness, while also facing the reality of what the future may hold personally, takes an incredible level of courage, resilience and determination.
People like this genuinely amaze me — the selflessness of thinking about helping future generations and other families, while also carrying the weight of their own future uncertainty. That level of strength, perspective and compassion is something truly special.
This is about:
💚 Awareness
💚 Research
💚 Hope
💚 Support for families affected by dementia
💚 Pushing conversations forward around neurological disease and brain health
The Cork route starts and finishes at Tramore Valley Park, starting at 10am with approx 4hr 21min finish time, and will travel through many areas across the city throughout the day.
I’ve broken the route into areas across these slides to make it easier for people to see where they can come out and show support along the way 🙌🏻
If they are passing near your area, come out and support them:
👏 Cheer them on
🏃 Join them for part of the route
💚 Share their story
💰 Donate if you can
📱 Follow @ftdbrothers for live updates to catch them near you
Every conversation, donation and show of support helps bring more awareness and funding to research in this area.
Best of luck to Joradn & Cian and their team on this incredible journey across Ireland, over the half way mark already 👏🏻👏🏻
