This trail race is coming up on the Cork-Kerry border on Sunday 8th Sept 2024. It's reasonably tough so it might be one for the more experienced trail runners.

Mandatory Kit: Level B - Standard. Waterproof jacket, Hat or buff, Gloves, Whistle, Charged mobile phone with emergency number stored, Foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent
Entry Closes: Saturday 7th September 2024, 18:00
Entry cost: €7 for seniors, €5 for over 65s and under 18s
Route Description: Nice fast course, Forrest trail, Bog road, and open Mountain. Long race will be approx 11km. Short race will be approx 5km. Both routes will be fully marked.Getting There:Top of Coom Ireland's Highest Pub Coolnolhill, Kilgarvan, Co. Kerry, V93 EW90. From Cork, N22 through Macroom and Baile Mhuirne (Ballyvourney), turn left at the Mills Inn, take minor road through CĂșil Aodha (Coolea), and continue uphill on this minor road as far as Top of Coom Pub.
