The Clonakilty 5k parkrun started on the 1st of February 2014 and recently celebrated its 5th birthday. The chart above shows the numbers for each one!
There is of course a huge amount of variability but you can see that it swings from about 20 to about 50 per week. According to the Clonakilty parkrun website, the actual long term average is 36.6 per week.
To look for trends, I have calculated the weekly average for each of the 5 years....
The latest numbers for the start of 2019 show a bit of an increase on the same time last year....
A total of 1,873 registered runners have taken park to date.
The Clonakilty 5k parkrun takes place every Saturday morning at 9:30am at the Show Grounds and is completely free.
