Cork City Marathon - Relay

The stages for the relay for the Cork Marathon have now been decided. They are...

Stage 1.........Patrick St.->Blackpool->Along the Quays->Silversprings (4.8 Miles)
Stage 2........Silversprings->Jack Lynch Tunnel->Mahon Point->Ringmahon Road (5.4 miles)
Stage 3.........Ringmahon Road ->Marina->Centre Park Road->Victoria Road (near Carey's) (4 miles)
Stage 4..........Victoria Road->Link road->Slip road to Turners Cross->Tramore Road->Lough->Glasheen Rd->Finbarrs Cemetery->Bishopstown Credit Union->Denneheys Cross->Model Farm Rd (5.5 miles)
Stage 5...........Model Farm Rd->Roundabout near Ballincollig->Straight Rd->WesternRd->Quays->Patrick St (6.5 miles)

Relay teams can be made up of 2, 3, 4 or 5 runners. Some people are under the impression that a team of 2 can do a half-marathon each. That is NOT the case. The closest that they can probably get if for the first person to run the 1st 3 stages (14.2 miles) and the 2nd person to run the last 2 stages (12 miles).
