Cancelled parkruns in Cork - Sat 17th Jan 2026

I went out for a walk at 6:30am this morning and there was a hard frost on the cars and grass. For Cork City. the skies are clear on high ground while there is a freezing fog in the valleys.

The current temperature (7am) is about 1 deg C at Cork Airport while it's -1 deg C further inland near Fermoy.

The local paths seem ok but it may not be the same everywhere. Keep an eye out for cancellations before you travel.

Midleton is cancelled.

Ballincollig is cancelled

Tramore Valley Park is cancelled

Glen River is cancelled

Macroom is confirmed as going ahead.

7 deg C on Bere Island and is going ahead as per usual
