5k parkruns in doubt as Met Eireann announce orange weather warning for Sat 5th Oct 2024

Met Eireann has announced an orange weather warning for Cork & Kerry for Saturday 5th October 2024. In this instance, it's for heavy rainfall.

Things might yet change but if you're thinking about doing a 5k parkrun then keep an eye out for cancellations.

Youghal & Mallow have already been cancelled.

Update Sat 5th: Despite the orange warning, it looks like the rain will only be in West Cork and Kerry at 9:30am.

The rain won't arrive in Cork City until around noon.
