A grand total of 241 runners turned out for this years Cork BHAA 5k Turkey Trot in Mahon with a cheque for €3,000 to Cork Simon. As can be seen from the chart at the bottom of the post, the numbers were down about 14% this year which was probably due to the number of events on over the weekend.
Contestants were not allowed wear watches for this 5k and the winners were those who finished as close as possible to their estimated finish times.

Another great year of events from the BHAA. Great value races. A big thank you to committee and volunteers. It takes a fair bit of effort to put on a race. A lot goes on behind the scenes that the runners dont see. Well done the BHAA.
