Hi lads, brilliant race. Nice gentle course. Fair play for organizing the wind at our backs for most of it!! Really enjoyed it thanks a million.
One small thing though, I'm missing from the results. Cian o Connor, Bob no. 92. The clock read 1.29.26 or .46 as I crossed the line. Would ye be able to find me?
Thanks again for a great evening to all involved
Hi I have same problem missing from results bib number 76 thank you
Have to say a special thanks to each and everyone of the stewards. I don't think I've ever taken part in a race where I found them all as encouraging as last night. Great night, not so great this morning though. Thanks to all for organising.
Great race and thanks to the organisers. Agree with the above comment about the stewards. They were excellent. I was bib number 323 and I'm down as male in the results. Can that be changed to female please? :-)
Thanks to all involved in organising the run. Stewarding was superb and always encouraging.
Great race. Thanks to everybody involved. Results seem a little off. About 5 seconds for a lot of people id say and the categories seem to be missing for some. Probably something that will be fixed on the final results. Thanks again. See you next year
Great event last evening very well organised / one small think though I'm down as Unknown in the results Bib Number 379 Sean O'Brien can this be fixed please especially when it was my first 10miler sub 80mins. Cheers and congrats to the organisers again
with all the building in the last year up their ,pity they did not fill in the last 100 yards of pot holes, well done on a great race
Thanks to the 3 pacemakers for 70 mins from st finbarrs . They were brilliant !! Very motivating and a great sense of rumour . Thanks lads . Much appreciated .
The last 100yards awful footing for a great course ..(fill it for next year please..)I'm down as senior man but I registered as over 45.(paper work??).but besides this had a great run👍
Really enjoyed the race first time doing it. Just a couple of points . There was no water left for the last runners coming in which after running 10 miles was badly needed. You could have done yourself a serious injury in the last 100 mtrs with the condition of the road. And the 80 min pacer must have been running his own race coz they were running 75 min pace . Waste of time having them if they aren't goingcto do want they are their for.
Superb race, was so surprised how encouraging every single steward was especially to the less faster participants, easily known this is organised by people who genuinely have a passion for running and who are steeped in tradition through their own achievements and want each and every runner out there to enjoy the buzz freedom of running!
75!!! Don't know what pacers you ran with, perhaps you had an issue with your own time reading as I came in 79:35 with pacers
Regarding the comment on the 80 pacers check your watch again please bib no 122 was the first of the 80 group home at 1.19.20 check your facts please
According to my watch pacers ran 7:55 miles, they even slowed to above 8's on the hill by blackrock castle and hill by the bridge. Got us all in single file to keep our stride going over the bridge so we wouldn't clump up, shouted at us to keep us motivated, the guy I ran with dropped off me to go back and pick up others and got them over the line just sub 80 also. You either burned yourself out and are looking for someone to blame to save face or you just couldn't cut it! I don't like seeing injustices and your comment is one of them
Agree with the comments regarding the 80min pacers - they consistently ran 7.55 all the way apart from spending a few seconds around Blackrock Castle, and worked hard to encourage anyone who was at the back of the group. No need for any negativity here. Excellent job, lads.
Really good race course wise, stewards, water, and plenty food afterwards when we got back to the hall, etc. Well done St Finbarr's. To say the categories were a shambles however would be an understatement. The majority of the older ones that were announced on the night were amended or in doubt and it looked like an awful lot of changes to categories were required based on runners querying results. Looked like a vast amount of runners were listed as simply F or M and should have been in older categories. Maybe all the written entries were mistakenly put in as seniors. Hope it's corrected and no one misses out on a gold medal in the cork championships because of this. Maybe it's easily fixed. Apart from this it looked really well run.
Mon 11th 6pm. The results are now updated.
Hi. Race number 301 not included. I ran 77 minutes 45 seconds approximately. Thanks you.
