In June of 2015, I had a post up about Terry Brady who ran the Waterford Marathon in an impressive time of 3h 16m 58s dressed in a bottle costume. Previous post with Q&A HERE
This was some bit quicker than the previous Guinness World Record which was 3 hours 31 minutes.
In his preparation for the Waterford marathon, Terry had also ran a fine time in the Cork City Half-Marathon when he finished in 1h 29m 21s in wet conditions in the same costume.
Guinness World Records tend to take some time to be verified but in the last week, Terry finally got his World Record Certificate in the post.
