Great day even if the heat was too much. Organisation was second to none. Support on course was unbelievable, plenty of iced drinks, crisps and biscuits. I enjoyed a new challenge even if my body is not too happy with me.
Excellent event. Did the "Half-Ultra", if that makes sense! Really really impressed with how the Cloncrew run these events, and after running in the Waterford Viking debacle a few weeks back, this was top class stuff! #howtorunaneventproperly
Very good event! Loved the 18 mile race.....
Have to agree with all the previous posts. Great event, well run with the iced drinks as a bonus.Even though I suffered in the heat I enjoyed it.
Great day yesterday. Did the 18 mile - you don't see the distance often in a race but am working up from a half to full marathon so found it really good preparation. Heat and humidity were tough but there were loads of drink stations - every 3 miles. Loved the course and there was a really nice atmosphere on the day!
