This 10 km road race in West Cork is coming up on Sunday, the 7th of July at 12 noon. This race was last held in 2011 as last year's event had to be cancelled due to severe flooding in the village.
Located on the main road between Bandon and Clonakilty, the village of Ballinascarthy is a 45 minute drive from Cork City and should be of interest to most runners in West Cork.
The race has an Athletics Ireland licence and has been accurately by Jones Counter.
It costs €12 to enter the race and all proceeds go towards the COPE Foundation and Enable Ireland.
More details in a future post.
