Viewed overall, it has to be seen as a very successful weekend for the Irish team and Athletics Ireland. Not only did they host a successful games on a European level but the Irish team managed to maintain it's place in the 1st league.

Bit of a pity RTE (don't have Setanta) were covering this for the weekend. Ended up watching the Super League on BBC which was very entertaining. Would have preferred to watch the first league with Ireland involved though.
Good performance considering a lot of the main Irish athletes were missing. Looks like some promising younger athletes coming through
