Mallow AC have just announced the prize structure for the 2016 Mallow 10 mile road race and it should be of special interest to some of the faster runners out there. As well as having cash prizes for the first five men and women, they will be giving out a €250 bonus for any man who run sub 49:30 or any woman going sub 57:00. This bonus obviously applies only to some of the best runners in the country but it might make the trip worthwhile for some.
They also have the usual array of category prizes and a €250 bonus for anyone breaking the following course records.... Martin Fagan 48:28 & Michelle Finn 56:29
Another change this year is that there are prizes for the first two mixed teams...2 men and 2 women.
