For those of you who might be interested in trying something different, the 2012 MonsterMAC Multi-Sports Adventure Race is coming up on
Saturday, the 28th of April 2012 in Millstreet Country Park in Cork. Located in the Boggeragh Mountains to the south-east of of the town of Millstreet itself, it is within easy reach of participants in Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
There are a selection of courses on offer and basically involve trail running, cycling and kayaking. Please note that entry fee's increase after the

Can you advise what are the kayak stages like? Are they on a river or lake? Are they safe?
All kayaks are provided, beginner kayaks so no fear of falling overboard. its a small lake with a 400m kayak distance, we also provide buoyancy aids and paddles. Full details on the website.
