It's time to kick off a week long look ahead to the Ballycotton '10' race next weekend.
First up....an appeal from the organisers for people to help out with stewarding at the race. I know from others than have helped out before that they got a great buzzz from being part of the whole event. Perhaps if you are injured or not doing it this time, you might consider helping out? Ballycotton Running Promotions organise many different road races at very low cost to runners and this is the one occasion where they need help the most.
Stewards required for Ballycotton ‘10’ 2011
While most people involved in athletics, probably want to be on the start line of Ballycotton ‘10’ on Sunday March 6th at 1.30pm. This we know is not possible for many reasons, but you can still be involved from a different perspective. As everyone knows, all events require quite a bit of organising, both before the event and on the day of the event.
We at Ballycotton Running Promotions would like to welcome all non-participants to come and help out in the smooth running of this great event. We will require stewards for various positions before, during and after the race, so feel free to volunteer.
If interested, please contact Tom Hartnett at 086-2386390 or at ballycottonrunning@eircom.net
Regards
