More photos from the Cork BHAA 'EMC' road race......

I'm sure that most of you will have noticed by now the excellent photographs by Jorge Ruiz Villasante of the various road races around Cork. While it's great to have any photos of a race, these are really exceptional.

Here are a few from the 2009 EMC race...

Time for a chat before going out onto the main road...

Hi ho..hi ho..it's off to the start we go...

This for me is the best photo of the lot. It's shows the overall winner of the race, James McCarthy around the 2 mile mark. As the subject of the photo, he is in focus. The rest of the field stretched out behind him down the hill is out of focus but provides the context for the photo.

The photo also appears to make that incline look pretty steep!
