This fundraiser for the Darrara National School near Clonakilty was held on Fri 16th May 2025. There were 126 finishers in the 5k run with a further 48 in the 10k.

Results of the Darrara and Ring 5k & 10k - Sat 25th May 2019

Catching up on some recent results. I only came across this one today. The 2019 Darrara and Ring 5k & 10k near Clonakilty was held back on Saturday the 25th of May 2019 on what was a sunny evening.

The numbers were way down this year with the total dropping about 29%.

Notice...Darrara & Ring Bay 10k & 5k Run nr Clonakilty - Fri 25th May 2018

Following on from thee success of the inaugural event in 2017, this 10k and 5k will be held this year on Friday the 25th of May 2018 with a 7:30pm start time.

Info from the organisers....
Beautiful 10k run, jog or walk, combining 'Wild Atlantic Way' views with countryside route and great community atmosphere! We also have a separate 5k countryside route.
In aid of works at Darrara Community Centre.
Fees: €10 for 10k & 5k, to be paid on the night.
Registration from 6.30pm in Darrara Community Centre.
Parking, secure storage and changing facilities provided at Darrara Community Centre.
Refreshments during the race for participants.
Tea, cake & hospitality afterwards at Darrara Community Centre.
10k Over 16s only.
Children welcome on the walk, but must be accompanied by an adult.
