Results of the 5k parkruns around the county on Saturday 4th October 2025. Approximately 1060 runners and walkers took part in the 11 events in Co Cork.
After all the rain on Friday, there were scattered showers for the parkruns this weekend. The numbers were down a bit on last week most likely due to the possibility of rain during the events.
Ballincollig... Well done to Mairead Perez who completed her 250th 5k parkrun this weekend!
245 of the 250 parkruns have been at the Ballincollig event. At the same event, Ciaran Deasy reached the century mark while Kieran Mullane hit 200.
Midleton... Well done to Barrie Drennan who completed his 100th 5k parkrun this weekend.
Clonakilty... The 5k parkrun is the second oldest parkrun in Co Cork and this weekend, they celebrated their 500th event.
It only seems appropriate that a rainbow made an appearance during the event.
If I missed anyone who passed a notable milestone like 100, 200, 250 or above parkruns then let me know.
