Is this not a bit much coming 6 days before the same community hold their annual 10 mile race?Or am I missing something.Could they not have picked a different time perhaps?Surely the local runners made the people at the school aware?I'm in for the 10 miler and may have supported the other one,but certainly won't be paying for 2 races in the one week.
Different type of event... one is a 10-mile road race which will attract runners from a wide area, the other is a 5k fun run which is a fundraiser for a school and will most likely attract locals. A few might do both but they're also a week apart.
