Cork runner Lizzie Lee wins the 2018 VHI Womens 10k mini-marathon in Dublin
One of the biggest if not the biggest running events in the country is the annual VHI Women's mini-marathon in Dublin. This year it was held on Sunday the 3rd of June and attracted a huge field of roughly 30,000 women.
The title this year is heading back to Cork after Lizzie Lee of Leevale AC won the race in a time of 34 min 18 secs. Siobhan O'Doherty from Tipperary finished 3rd while Leevale athlete Sinead O'Connor finished 7th in 36:25.
