One of the most remarkable races at the Paralympics has been the Men's 1500m in the T13 category.
There are three classes for visually impaired runners – T11, T12 and T13 – the higher the number, the less severe the impairment is.
Note the times for the first 4 below...
Amazingly, the top 4 finishers were faster than the winning time for the 1500m at the Olympics!
While perhaps the times at the Olympics were a bit slower due to it being more of a tactical race, it still highlights the high standards that these Paralympic athletes have.
