I just got a notification from the organisers of the Great Railway Run that the number of entries has already exceeded last years figure and there is still a month to go. They are looking into the possibility of capping the numbers for safety reasons as they can only handle so many.
The two messages that they would like to convey are...
1) If you are interested in doing the 25km, 10km or 5km then enter as soon as possible.
2) They are also looking for volunteers to help out on the day. Proceeds go towards the local Carrigaline Lions Club.
More info about the race can be found in this earlier post.
A preview of the course can be seen at http://munsterraceroutes.blogspot.ie/2013/01/cork048.html
The website for the race is http://www.thegreatrailwayrun.com/grrHome.php
