Cork Marathon entry deadline extended until the 16th of May...

Entries to this years Cork City Marathon were due to close today, the 9th of May. This has now been extended by one week but note that the half-marathon entries might close earlier.

From the organisers.....ENTRY DEADLINE EXTENDED - Friday 16th May...Entries are still piling in and we're dealing with a lot of calls and emails as well as a steady flow of online entries. Seems a lot of people were waiting until after Limerick or Belfast to make the final decision on Cork. So, if you want to push on from a good performance or make up for a disappointing run… we're extending the closing date for one week. Closing date is now Friday 16th May for the marathon and marathon relay. We'll keep the half marathon open for as long as possible too but expect to have reached the cut-off in the next few days.
