A total of 252 runners turned out for this 10 mile road race near Fermoy on what was a warm sunny afternoon. It was obvious from the level of effort that went into it that it was very much a community based event with the small village effectively closed for the race.

Well done, another great race, looking forward to next year.
Great day It was baking hot. Nice course Well marshalled and thanks to the resident who put the hose out at the side of the road to spray us with water. It was a welcome relief. And many thanks to the water stations too and supporters along the way. At times i struggled but i got there in the end. A Well organized race. Great spread after. and plenty of it. And a nice top as well. Hopefully I will be back next year. It was lovely to see the kids running and cheering us on towards the finish line . Great encouragement on a hot day.
First time doing this race but would highly recommend it. Maybe not a pb course but everything else makes for a great day, very well marshalled, pacers, water stations (bottles at the official ones), a great top and a fabulous atmosphere during and afterwards with a marquee and lots of food. Well done to everyone involved in this. See ye next year
