At the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, one of the morning events was the Masters men's over-60 800 metre race. In a dramatic final lap, Joe Gough from West Waterford AC kept the lead until the last few metres when his legs gave out.
In the end, Joe finished in a very credible second place against some of the best masters athletes in the world.
