Macroom parkrun is two years old...16th May 2015

The very first 5k parkrun in Cork was in Macroom back on the 18th of May 2013. It has now been going practically every Saturday morning for the last two years.

Other than a few quieter months over the winter, it's been getting a nice steady 30-50 runners per week.

What's probably more remarkable is that this is all organised on a voluntary basis and the fact it's been going for two years is a real achievement.
