Please excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is a Park Run? Is it just a group of people who get together for a 5 k run or is there a competitive bent to them?
ReplyDeleteThe 5k parkruns are not races as such in that there are no prizes for winning. They do however have all the hallmarks of a usual race...measured course and timed. You just need to register once online and then bring along your bar code to each event.

John, how come you forgot to mention the Munster Road Championships in Kilmallock??
ReplyDeleteThe post was about races in Cork this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe Munster road championships was also pre-entry so there were no entries on the day.
