excellent race though its a pity the organisers are having fork out so much in terms of insurance, aai measuring and full road closures. They have had to absorb a loss on this race last year so well done to north cork on what will b a excellent event.
ReplyDeleteI've a question. Why do the AAI charge for measuring. I thought it was AIMS who measure the course. Is there a reoccurring charge with this??
ReplyDeleteWould it not just be the race permit that the AAI would charge for like all other races??
Also if I run say a fast time in a race like blarney and have a qualifying time for Boston/New York will it count??? Is it only AIM's courses that count for qualifying for major Marathons??
