There's a great atmosphere around this race. If you're in or around West Cork on St Patrick's morning and you're in any way fit, you could do worse than running or walking this very scenic 10k route and the sunshine makes it all the more pleasant.
ReplyDeleteMy first time running this race but certainly something I will come back for. Nice challenging route with some great scenery (the descent at around the 3k mark gives you a chance to look around).
ReplyDeleteUp there with Dunmanway in the 10k category for me.

My first ever 10k run and found it to be very well organized. Beautiful scenery along the coast. Some challenging hills that were tougher than they looked but also long stretches of flat road. Last quarter was very do-able in particular.
