Results of the 5k parkruns around the county on Saturday 20th September 2025. Approximately 1033 runners and walkers took part in the 11 events in Co Cork.
Despite the gloomy forecast all week, it turned out to be a nice dry Saturday morning after all.
Ballincollig... Well done to Niall O'Leary who hit the 200 mark this weekend! 194 were at Ballincollig.
Well done to Anne Smith who completed her 100th 5k parkrun with 89 in Ballincollig.
A shout out also to Livia Habermayer who has now completed 100 5k pakruns after graduating from the junior parkrun ranks.
Well done to Mairead Perez and Don Fitzgerald who celebrated their 150 volunteer credits in Ballincollig this weekend.
Midleton... Well done to Trevor Collins who completed his 100th parkrun this weekend! 33 of these were at the Midleton event, 46 were in Ballincollig and the balance were spread over a number of other events.
Castlehaven... Well done to John Hutchens who has earned his 250th volunteer credit this weekend!
Michael has done 88 of the 200 at the Youghal event.
If I missed anyone who passed a notable milestone like 100, 200, 250 or above parkruns then let me know.

a) Mallow Castle will be holding their 200th event on the 27th of September.
b) Tramore Valley Park will be celebrating their 10th anniversary on the 27th of September.
