| Holly Carroll & Denis Hegarty are the winners of the 2025 Cork BHAA John Buckley Sports 5k |
There was a record turnout for this years Cork BHAA John Buckley Sports 5k road race with 1206 finishers, up about 18% on last year which was also a record field.
The forecast for the race was for rain but in the end, the rain was confined to the north and south-west of the county with a dry area covering Cork City in between.

It's interesting to see that back in 2013 to 2019, it looked as if the numbers would always be just under 1000. Now in 2025, they've taken a big jump upwards.

Was that a record attendance for any Cork BHAA race?
ReplyDeleteYes, it was a record for the Cork BHAA. I think the next closest was this years PwC 5k race with 963.
