Due to ongoing works on the Marina, there is no Cork City 10-miler this year with the organisers instead opting for a 10k on the Lee Road / Straight Road circuit.
The numbers for the 10k were down about 25% on the numbers last year for the 10-mile which might suggest that the shorter distance isn't as popular.

ReplyDeleteentries were limited to 1,000 so that would account for the drop. There was huge demand this year, way beyond the 1,000 entries taken.
