The annual Cork BHAA Turkey Trot 5k was held this year on Sunday 17th Dec 2023 and there were 351 finishers which as can be seen from the updated chart below is back to the numbers they were getting back in the 2013-2016 time period.
This race was a bit unusual in that no watches were allowed and participants had to try and guess their finish time in advance.
A total of €4,800 was raised for the Cork Simon charity.

ReplyDeleteMight want to check the BHAA results again, I was there, 351 finished the races. I don’t why difference in results but the PDF file only has 263 but excel has all 351. Fantastic event that I would highly recommend. Love the charity aspect and concept of no watch. It’s similar to a parkrun. The atmosphere was electric and real since of community and Christmas 🎅 spirit.
