Race calendar on blog passes 900,000 pageviews

I noticed that the running event calendar on the Running in Cork blog passed the 900,000 pageview mark in the last few days!

That by the way isn't 900,000 people. If you check out the calendar once a day then you'd generate 7 pageviews per week. Even still, it's a huge number.

A copy of the calendar is also kept on the Running in Munster site and that one is now at 377,574 pageviews. That brings the combined total for the calendar to almost 1.3 million.

At the moment, the combined calendar gets about 7,200 pageviews per month.

I've been asked about some upcoming half-marathons and 10-milers and there are plenty up the country which are easy enough to get to from Cork on the M8. I might include a few of these going forward as people are interested in them.
